When using the TIVO Series 2 DT model, does anyone know if it is still possible for the dual tuner to work if you take another cable and run it from the RF Out of the cable box to the RF In of the TIVO with the red, yellow and white line out chords going from the cable box to the input of the TIVO? I hope this question isn't too confusing......

IF you mean "can you use a second cable box connected to the TiVo A/V inputs (with the first connected to the RF inputs)" the answer is "not really" because TiVo only controls ONE cable box.

No. That's why it's not mentioned in any of the setup/connection pages of the manual or at tivo.com.
