Anyone see this? It was on this week and I missed it. Would really like to see it and it's not coming back on anytime soon... if anyone has it and would burn it for me I'm up for a trade, pay postage, and/or send back blank disc.

I read a review of this show in the Daily News earlier this week and meant to set a pass for it.

Checking the PBS website, it appears that they will be showing it on Tuesday at Midnight in my area (not sure if they really mean Monday at 12am or Tuesday) -- however, the guide data for both of those nights indicates that they are doing the Pledge Drive with no definite program information. I will have to record a 5 hour block of programming if I want to try to capture it. If they're doing the Pledge drive, who knows when they'll start the show, how many breaks they'll take etc.

Hm, might have to get the DVD! I know what you mean about the pledge drive- I've missed other PBS programming the same way!

In the Los Angeles area, we have four PBS outlets, none of which showed the special due to pledge drives.

However, each has announced plans to run it during the first week of September.

It's a good documentary...well worth watching. Curiously, in the San Francisco Bay Area anyway, it was shown only on the analog channel, not any of the digital subchannels or the HD channel.
