Yeah, the pilot is airing Wednesday simultaneously on SyFy and USA. It airs Friday night on Bravo. I think it is only the pilot, as E2 only shows airings on SyFy, so make sure your 1P is for SyFy, or, I suppose, all channels.

That's where YTTV really shines; add a show to your library, and it'll pick it up anywhere it finds it. Of course, their "DVR" doesn't have other features that make TiVo's outstanding.

I'm in. But man, the poor guy can't seem to get out of Sci Fi, lol. Or at least, that was the theme of Con Man.

Thanks for the reminder, the advertisements for this had me interested. Season Pass set.

My TiVO Bolt chooses "all channels" by default. It's possible that I configured that as a preference; I can't remember. There's a way to choose the default settings for most/all OnePass options. I also configure it to add an extra couple of minutes to all recordings, since I don't record so much that I ever have all 4 tuners running at once and I hate missing the last few seconds of shows, and I have streaming options disabled by default.

I hadn't set the DVR up for this yet and I noticed that it was on all those channels but I set it on SyFy. If I did a search it would just pick it up wherever it's playing (using that functionality often picks up repeats where the guide is slightly different, Battlebots new episode records, but so do the repeat episodes on Science Channel too). Using DirecTV DVR HR54. Anyway, thanks for the reminder, I wanted to watch this.

This is where I really prefer YTTV; it automatically adds when any program (including sports) has an overrun. And, yes, Rob, you are correct that the TiVo does find them anywhere as long as you choose all channels.

TiVo will offer to pad sports and other live shows when you create the SP, but it doesn't do anything extra based on what's actually happening as the show is recorded. I wonder how they know the show is going over time, in real-time?

Good question, and I don't have the foggiest.

I was totally blown away by Alan Tudyk portraying the human/alien. Great performance by him. The bar scene is classic and the supporting characters (big Black) are wonderful. Alan deserves whatever good things he gets in life after the "I'm a leaf in the wind" debacle on Serenity.
