My first Tivo was a Series 2, which I am still using. My second Tivo was a Toshiba SD400 that recently died. Later this week I am going to pick up an HD to replace the dead Toshiba. I am still paying for both of my old units with the dead Toshiba as the second unit at $6.95.

How much trouble am I going to have switching the subscription from the dead Toshiba unit to the HD? What is the process?

All you have to do is login into the tivo website and switch out the service numbers.

If you want you can even call Tivo and have them do the transfer of the service for you.

There is no charge as long as they are monthly subscription units.

By the way, what exactly is wrong with your other units? Are the hard drives just bad? If that is the case, I would happy to purchase them off of you and try repair them.

If it is more than just the hard drive, then I'm really not interested. Send me a message and we can talk more.
