We've got two SD DVRs, one of which died. Looking to the future, I thought it might be worthwhile to replace the deceased one with a new HD DVR. I called DirecTV and was told that I could 1) replace the dead SD DVR for the cost of shipping only, or 2) replace it with an HD DVR for $299. As a 5+ year subscriber, I'd like to think I can do better. Or am I being unreasonable?
