I have an xl remote that works with just fine with ir but can’t get it to switch to rf. I have seen multiple posts about holding down the TiVo button and green d button but that doesn’t do anything. also have seen posts about holding down TiVo and back button but there is no back button. Any help would be appreciated.

Premiere XL (Series 4) does not have RF, so the remote also does not have RF.

RF remotes began with Roamio models (Series 5).

There are remotes with bluetooth and a dongle.
