Remote Signal Repeater

I've had a second tivo in the master bedroom now for a few years. It looks like its going to stay and I would like to remove all of the wires leading from the tivo to the tv. The only way for me to do this is to add some electrical in a closet about 6 feet away and put the tivo in there. My question is; What is the best way to get the remote signal to the tivo unit if its in the closet?

The slide remote is bluetooth and it works great for that application.
Probably one of those wireless remote extenders that go in with the battery of the remote.
Thanks for the replies. Wondering if either of these solutions would interfere with the tivo in the front room?
I bought one of the units that has a receiver that sits on a counter which you aim your remote at and it then sends the signal wireless to a receiver inside the cabinet that then sends the remote signal to the unit you want to control. It looks like the top of Robbie the robot from lost in space.

Oops you are right for some reason I thought they were the same because the voice sounded the same. I was going to say Forbidden Planet but figured it was before a lot of peoples time and wouldnt know it. I still like the part where Anne Francis is swimming in the pond.
What kind of money are each of these options? Anyone know. The slide remote is 60 I see. Howabout the others?
