Just set up a new 1TB Bolt VOX and having a whole host of problems. DVR response from remote is VERY slow and clunky. Sometimes takes ten-twenty seconds to respond to a button command. VOX will sometimes find program and allow one-pass to be scheduled, but usually freezes completely after... only buttons that remain functional are mute and tv off/on. Live TV continues to play, but no control whatsoever. Have to reboot to get remote working again. Can’t schedule programs just by pushing record when viewing in guide... works to record program while playing show in progress. Really frustrating... generally wonky and only marginally responsive. Something is seriously wrong. Spectrum coming out this morning... may try to change cablecard. Also, calling TiVo tech support to see wha they say. Any ideas. Mahalo in advance. Mick from Hawaii

Hi Mick,

Definitely not normal assuming nothing is interfering with the remote (but you also mention that it freezes after a 1P is scheduled) so I would call support. Let us know if you just happened to get a defective one.
