Hi,

I would like to search for movies by the star rating - say 3 stars and above only. Is there any way I can search based on this criteria in the description.

Is there any other equivalent way of getting only quality movies in your search list.

Nope, the ratings are not a search field.

The best substitute I have found (if you are really motivated) is to use zap2it.com's search capability.

If you register you can set up your "channels I receive" and search for movies by star rating. And these are the same stars listed on your TiVo.

Key is to be able to auto-record top rated movies when they're available. Manually checking zap2it and scheduling is way too tedious.

Star ratings are there. Shouldn't this be easy to implement? It would be very valuable.

Is it still possible to search by star rating on zap2it? I registered and do not see how to search by star rating.

What I am trying to do is find an easy way to pick movies to record on my tivo using the star rating. A wishlist would be great but as pointed out in OP this is not possible. If zap2it could search by rating this would work fairly well also using the linked to tivo feature.
