I am going to cancel my tivo service to be replaced by dish dvr hd. I have several hours of programing recorded on my series 2 tivo . How can I watch those programs after my service is disconnected? I am moving the tivo to another tv that will not be hooked up on cable or sat when the service goes off. Thanks,

You can still watch previously recorded programs on an unsubbed unit. You just won't be able to use any of the network features or schedule new recordings.

Connect the Tivo to the TV and plug it in
Turn on the TV and set to the appropriate input source
from tivo central select "Now Playing"
select the folder for the recording you want to watch
no folder? skip to next step
select the recording that you want to watch
select "Play"
watch the recorded program

seriously though, another option is to use MRV to put them on your computer.
