Longtime lurker and finally posting.
I am running the old OS, not Hydra
My Roamio did something new last night. When clicking the LiveTV button to set my tuner to the kid friendly stations before turning off the TV for the night it flashed into a reboot, and was continuing the reboot/startup loop.
I did the normal unplug everything for 30 sec and try again with no luck. I even removed and reinstalled the CableCard, as that corrected some issues in the past.
I found an old thread reference about sometimes reboots would work with either the coax or network cable removed. I had luck getting a full start with everything but the cable coax hooked up.
Once I had that I tried to hook up the coax and a picture appeared for a moment in the upper window, then triggered the reboot/startup loop again.
Any ideas? Never had any issues with the cable itself in year of use on this and other previously replaced tivos (it's always been harddrive or hardware issues). Would trying to get my cable company to re-pair the CableCard work, or maybe a new CableCard is needed? All suggestions are welcome.
Thanks,
Nathan
