I have a 40hr series 2 box, and it's stuck in a reboot loop (first it's "Welcome! Powering Up..." then it's "Almost there, just a few minutes more..." then black, then "Welcome! Powering Up..."; you get the picture).

I first noticed something wrong when my information wouldn't update through my wireless network. Then, when I rebooted, the looping started.

Do I have a bad HD, or could it be something else?

I've unplugged the unit from AC and let it sit for about 8 hours. Plugged it back in and got the same thing. How do I hook it up to a computer so I can run the diagnostic?

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll try them all.

Hopefully I can get this thing back up. It's tough to watch television without Tivo....
