Just got an HDVR2 (used) and called DTV to activate it for my account. They said it was still active on someone else's account (that person is still paying for DVR service I guess) and could not take it off there unless that person called.
Anything I can do about this? Do authorized dealers have some inside track to fix something like this? Obviously the other person would want this removed, however I don't have a way of getting in contact.
