Just re-installed a DSR6000 which was never deactivated but had been disconnected for 6 months. When I go through the setup, it stops at "seaching for Sat signal" . Stays at 0%. Does not find either sat. If I put anpother receiver aT this location, it is fine so it's not the coax.

Rebooted, removed and reset card, called DTV and they told me to get a R15.

Any ideas on what is happening with this?

Never mind.

I'm too embarrased to even tell you what I did wrong. Must be too much of that FL sun.

You have to admit what happened so that others don't make the same mistake.
Afterall, that's what we are here to do. Help others. :)

You plugged the sat line into the RF input, didn't you?

I only wish your intial post was all ranting and raving and swearing about it. That would add to your embarrassment and my entertainment. :) Glad you got it going.

That's what I like about you Jim, you even know what people do when they screwup.

Can you believe after 6 years of various receivers and several HD upgrades that anyone could connect to the RF? I'm going to be 70 next week and my wife is right when she says "you're 70 and you're confused".
