I am actually an OTA TV watcher but noticed this in the Seattle Times and reading here various Comcast threads, figured it might be appreciated:


"Special Message to Local Comcast Cable Customers: If your cable box freezes as the company upgrades to Yet Another Software system, simply unplug it and plug it back in. When that fails for the eighth time, grasp the box by the cord, swing it over your head, smash it on the sidewalk, and call DIRECTV. Worked for us."
