Question about Streaming Live TV

I have Verizon Fios. My son is currently in the military and stationed at Ft Bragg NC. He wanted to watch the Eagles game yesterday and was unable to because of his location. Does anyone know of a way that he can access my fios feed from home whether it be from a TIVo or another device. I have a series 3 so I know I am going to have to upgrade but want to make sure that he can access it remotely.
