Oh, didn't realize that. I don't think it can do that...Does cTivo support transferring back to a TiVo? I believe that's the feature she was looking for.
Unfortunately I'm not able to update pyTivo Desktop for Mac easily. I was using a VM to build it before and I can no longer get that VM to run. (not sure why)Hi all, for years, I've used pyTivo to watch movies that were on my (old) Mac desktop. I've recently updated my computer that can now handle the current OS, but now pyTivo is no longer compatible. I've tried going the Apple way and uploading to iCloud and/or watching via Airplay but eventually, the audio gets out of sync with the video (very annoying, and something I have to investigate with an Apple CS forum) ). Is there a current software that works like pyTivo did?
I have a Tivo Bolt.
I saw this and tried it, but might not work with the Bolt. At least it wasn't able to find it. I tried doing it manually but entered the IP address but I'm clueless about ports and other info it needs.Try cTiVo on your Mac. It's better, and supports the latest version of macOS.

pyTivo is the only option for that as far as I'm aware. And to clarify what I'm looking for - I want to be able to watch movies on my television that are on my desktop. With pyTivo all I had to do is go to MYSHOWS -->DEVICES--> TIVO RECORDING to watch them.
