For months now I have been using the Internet to get the program guide updates. Early in september they started failing. Does anyone know if there is a problem with the service. I rang Tivo UK but they do not support the service.

I'd suggest reverting to using the modem and phone line for the moment. The cause of this sort of issues is often changes that the ISP has made regarding transparent proxy servers. I'm sure someone will be along soon to tell you what needs changing should this be the case...

Thanks all for the solutions. I had reverted to a dial up but the box isn't in the same room as my phone point. I was running an extension once a week to update. Not very elegant!

I have resolved the issue. I don't know why, but the default Gateway Address had somehow reverted back to it's default (192.168.1.1). I've changed it back to my router address and it seems to be OK. Anyone come across this?

Automan - I use Virgin Media as my ISP.
