I've found that my TiVo (S3) will sometimes get stuck on that same black screen. Usually hitting the TiVo button or left arrow on the remote will get me back to the menus, where I can try accessing the TiVoCast section again and then it usually works. I'd also suggest rebooting your TiVo if you continue having problems.
problems with TiVoCast
Last week I decided to cancel a few TiVoCast subscriptions. But I couldn't access the Download TV & Movies screens. Well, I could get to the first screen, which didn't show me which ones I was subscribed to but when I selected any individual title, it would dump me back to TiVo Central.
Later that evening, it started working again and I canceled a bunch of my SPs to some TiVoCasts.
Last night, it was still downloading them.
I tried numerous times last night to get into the TiVoCast menu to delete them (again) but it would just freeze at a black screen with "Please wait".
What's going on? Really annoying to have these things forced on me when I canceled them last week.
Later that evening, it started working again and I canceled a bunch of my SPs to some TiVoCasts.
