I have the same problem too, don't know why the DVD button stopped working, but some times it works and most the time it won't.. I wonder if it's because the stupid firmware upgrade from Tivo again?j5races said:

I tried a restart the recorder but it still doesnt respond to that button. Every other button seems fine. Of course you can press tivo and then choose the dvd from the list, but it used to work and now it doesnt. Any ideas??
Thanks, Jon
I just got mine off ebay. It was used for 6 months before I got it. I tried it out for 3 days and loved it so much I got a lifetime TiVo subscription for it. I record almost everything on Medium and it looks great on my 42" plasma. The menus are very fast compared to my series 1. The system info. menu states it can record up to 137 hours on the HDD. I've recorded several DVDs without any duds. I've hooked it up to my router and am running Galleon 1.9.2 etc fine now. (even the email) The DVDs in progressive mode look like HD. The sound is flawless. If you can get a good price, get one.ttrangmar said:MMG - How has your experience been with the 57H. I realize they are dicontinued by Pioneer but there are still stock in stores.
Thanks.
Excellent feedback. Thank you. I have found it in a local Ultimate Electronics store for $495 (new) and an open box for $450. I believe I will pick one up. Thank you again for your reply.MMG said:I just got mine off ebay. It was used for 6 months before I got it. I tried it out for 3 days and loved it so much I got a lifetime TiVo subscription for it.
