I was upgrading a hr10-250 to two 250g max quickview. Everything was going great. After I was finished and mounting b drive to bracket it slipped out of my hand and dropped on tile floor and damaged the drive. My question is this? Is it possible to rebless a drive the same size or bigger with out recopying the a drive or do i need to start from scratch. I had saved the recordings so there is a lot of waiting time involved. I did save the original drive.

:) No one had responded to my message. So I went ahead and remarried a new drive and this does work. Now remeber this was just a defective drive never been up and running. All of the recording are still there on the Primary drive. I did the command

mfsadd -r 4 -x /dev/hdx /dev/hdx where the x 's are the drive letters

Thanks Ted
