when I press Select or press 'right' onthe directional pad from the Now playing list to go into the detail of a show, my Tivo goes right back into the now playing list. if I want to play a show, I have to just hit the 'play' button while its highlighted within the now paying list....and yes I have rebooted and that didn't fix it.

it's a hacked unit stuck at 6.3d

by the way, when I try to search for a show and record it I get error #32

Does it happen with all shows in the NPL or just one show?

all the time....I am quite sure both things are related because I did a google search and I guess this was some sort of error that happened a lot with series 2 tivo's but was fixed in some updated to version 7 software.

I am in the middle of a clearing of all guide data and we'll see what happens, apparently takes an hour to do.

found some more info online...its a guide indexing problem...let's see if clearing the guide data does it. I assume whenn the tivo decides to index again it'll fix it....is there a way to force an index?

From the Restart menu, Clear Program Info and To Do List. I think you will also lose your SP's but not recorded programs.
