Thanks!
Is there any limit to the number of times you can request a refund within the the 30 day period?

Me too! Thanks again.missdona said:I got my refund already. Whee!
Basically just weigh the differences and you'll have to decide if it's worth it for you. The S3 has a bigger hard drive, so that means you can record more. And the eSATA port can be used now to upgrade it even more (but the HD should eventually be getting this). It's THX certified (if that makes a difference to you). And it has an OLED screen that displays what it's actually recording on the front.regularguy said:This seems as good a thread for my question as any....
If the Tivo HD is $249, and the original Series3 is now $374.99 (Amazon discount, plus $200 rebate), which should I buy?
Has this issue already been thrashed out on another thread? I haven't been around this forum for a few years, since I bought my Series2. But now I'm about to buy and HDTV, so it's back to obsessive researching. If the price difference were more significant (as it was when the HD first came out), I'd have no problem picking the HD.
So... which would you buy if you were upgrading from a Series2?
Just curious why. Storage space, asthetics or remote? Or all of the above? I have a S3, looking to get another S3 or HD so I'm in a similar situation.jtrain said:Series 3, hands down...but I'm biased because I own one...let's just say that if I bought a TiVoHD today, it would in no way, shape or form supplant the S3 in my living room, but a S2DT in the bedroom.
All of the above...aesthetics mostly, I get rave reviews for my S3 and for whatever reason, the TiVoHD reminds me of an S1 (looks wise). If I had to choose a 2nd TiVo, I'd get an S3.calitivo said:Just curious why. Storage space, asthetics or remote? Or all of the above? I was due for a $4.48 refund also, but they gave me another $16 off. I guess the customer service people cannot add well. I put all the discounts I already had in the refund email. I guess I confused them, but I cannot complain since now I got the Tivo for $237.Stinkweed8 said:I like this...Im in again for $4.48 refund
As of Monday morning, the Series3 is now $368.98 with the rebate, right?regularguy said:If the Tivo HD is $249, and the original Series3 is now $374.99 (Amazon discount, plus $200 rebate)
Nope. That's Electronics Expo's price not Amazon's. Taking into account shipping Amazon's $574.99 with free shipping is still cheaper.thomaslue said:As of Monday morning, the Series3 is now $368.98 with the rebate, right?
