Premiere to TivoHD transfers - sporadic lockups

I have a Series 3, a Tivo HD and a Premiere. I use MRV frequently and am having a problems with transfers to the HD. Transfers work fine from the series 3 but sporadically transfers from the Premiere cause the HD to lock up and eventually reboot. The lock up starts when I highlight and select the program residing on the Premiere that I want to transfer. Sometimes it works find and sometimes it doesn't. I haven't been able to identify any links to the problem. It happens when I'm recording and not recording on either or both the HD and Premiere. It happens when I have the premiere set to channels I don't get, etc. If I transfer the file to the Series 3 and then from there to the HD it works fine.

Both the HD and the Premiere are hard wired and the Series 3 is connected via wireless N.

Is there a way to fix this or must I live with it?
