They just came back on my Bolt. Crappy ads for TiVo+. Blank screen for a coulple seconds also. Not pleased.
Use chat or send an emailFor some reason, the dreaded pre-roll ads have reappeared on our TiVos & absolute chaos & instability have ensued - could be as a result of me stupidly adjusting my privacy settings on my TiVo account.
Can someone please remind me of the easiest way to get them removed again? I tried calling a couple of times last week but bailed after far too long on hold - grrr!
Same thing happened to me the other week, after I called into support for some troubleshooting and then to buy new Mini Luxes. As soon as I saw the ads, I got on chat, stated that I had the ads removed before and they came back. Chat said they would remove them and they were gone in less than a day.Use chat or send an email
Disappeared again, with no intervention on my part, a couple of days after posting this. Weird, but I'll take it.They've reappeared on my Roamio as well. I'd been successfully blocking them at the router, but guessing they've changed the address. It was prod.adgwy.tivo.com. No idea what it is now.

NOT true at all; that's simply what the phone drones are trained to say. Go to your local office & they WILL have them there.After a lot of back and forth with a Comcast rep on the phone, I was told that Comcast no longer sells DVR's that record to local hard drives.
