My machine has 4 PPV purchases that have not been uploaded to DirecTv.

My machine has been making calls sucessfully according to the system information screens. If I force a call, the call fails. Otherwise, the tivo says the calls have been sucessful.

I have tried changing my phone settings since we now have voice-mail but, the test call always fails.

If I change the area code, it calls and gets new numbers just fine.

The rest of my D*Tivos are making calls without any issues.

We have have had Charter Telephone for about 3 months, but, these PPV purchases go all the way back to March of '07 and none of them have appeared on my bill.

Has my tivo given up part of the ghost?

Thanks.

Is this particular unit hacked? It could be executing fakecall and updating the system information screen without actually making a call.

It would not matter as the call to upload ppv info is not the call that the system info screen reports on.

It is a call to an 800 number that handles ppv info. and that call has no information that is visible to users.

If you do not have success on the 800 call your DTiVo will stop allowing ppv purchases by the remote but you can still order ppv via the web and most find that method superior as it authorizes all the receivers on the account instead of just one.

Unit is not hacked.

I got the phone calls to work 100% of the time by adding a pause before and after the *70 that is dialed before the call.

When you order over the web, does your box automatically record the movie for you? I've never ordered over the web before so I have no idea how that works when it comes time to watch the movie.

Thanks.
