Will Pluto TV work if I upgrade to TE4 on a Bolt Vox? Pluto TV shows up as an app on the Bolt Vox on TE3, but it never loads.

On my TE4 Roamio, the app loaded, started playing live video for about 10 seconds then froze. So I wouldn't advise upgrading to get a working Pluto app on Tivo. It probably doesn't exist.

Have you considered using an actual streaming device?

The Pluto TV app works fine for me on TE4 on my Bolt, and one of my Edge boxes. The other, for some reason, has "lost" or "hidden" the Pluto TV app, though it does show the TiVo+ app.

I haven't tried to use the app from a Roamio for a while, so unfortunately can't confirm that it would work on TE4 there.

Honestly though, if you can access the Pluto TV app from other means, you are probably going to be happier with the experience.

I have an 'unsubscribed' Bolt with TE4/21.X that will stream Pluto very well. I ran it for a few days just 'tinkering' and it did well. I streamed some W-Series Formula racing using beIN SPORTS XTRA and Pluto. The complete Pluto channel guide for 'LIVE' was present and worked while I tinkered. I wouldn't want to consider it 'dependable' but it worked!

Wow, that's amazing. Didn't think it was possible to use the streaming apps without a subscription.
