Maybe I'm missing something. Or maybe your Bolt doesn't behave like my Roamio Plus. I can press and hold the skip button to go to the end, or press and hold the "jump back" button for the beginning.

I can press and hold the skip button to go to the end, or press and hold the "jump back" button for the beginning. When I bought my first Bolt, I was disappointed to find that the option to make the skip ahead button go to the beginning or end of the recording or buffer had been removed. I posted a comment at the time lamenting this loss of function and was a little surprised at the hostile reactions, saying, basically, "Get over it", sometimes in an extremely rude way.
Well that was several years ago, and I haven't gotten over it. When I'm watching my still-functioning Roamio and Premiere machines, I still use that feature all the time. When I use the Bolt, I have to press fast forward or reverse and then hit the skip button multiple times to move in 15 minute increments.
Why was the skip to beginning / end removed in the first place? As an old professional programmer, I can't believe it would be that difficult to restore this feature.
Please?
An update: after further experimentation with the Harmony Hub, I have found that if you assign a TiVo function to both the short and long press Harmony Hub functions for a button, the Harmony Hub retains the short and long functions of the original remote, so now a long press of a Harmony button does get me the press and hold skip to beginning (or end) function of the TiVo remote. So that's a big improvement. I still wish TiVo would add back the original menu option for the remote, however. Even a long press doesn't satisfy my lust for the original instant gratification.Maybe I'm missing something. Or maybe your Bolt doesn't behave like my Roamio Plus.
