Is anyone else watching this? I've been enjoying it so far. I wasn't aware of the eating disorder angle before watching the first episode, but found it fascinating and enlightening to hear her inner monologue as she's trying to avoid eating certain things or berating herself for how she looks or what she's eaten.

Also, it's just a fun look back at the early 80s, which is an era we don't see much of in TV/movies.

It’s come up a few times in the streaming thread in HH, so there definitely are a few other people here at least watching it. It has moved up and down my to-watch list, but I still plan to get to it this summer. (Of new Apple TV+ stuff, I’ll likely watch Schmigadoon! first.)

I LOVE IT! The "inner voice" is - just wow! And I love how she empowers herself through aerobics.
God, the men are super clueless. All of them!
Things are starting to implode and take off all at the same time. - I can't wait to see what happens!

I'm a little confused about the tape of the women shaving their heads. It was in Ernie's camcorder, so does that mean he took those videos with his camera? That would seem to be the obvious implication. But if watching women shave their heads turns him on, and he was physically in the room filming these women shave their heads, are we supposed to believe there wasn't any further physical contact between him and the shaved-head women once they finished shaving? That seems unlikely. Yet it seems like Greta and Ernie are great now that he got it off his chest that he has this unusual fetish. It just seems to me like it can't really be that simple, can it?

OK, that scene at the end of the season finale, with Sheila and the mall developer guy was just completely bizarre!

[Tap, tap, is this thing on?]

I watched the series and found it clever. It isn’t for me however so probably won’t watch season 2. I’m a fan of Byrne and love her in everything else I’ve seen.
