People name their dogs "TiVo"?!

I've found myself digging too deep into YouTube to find TiVo-related videos. Those seem to give me a bit of joy.

And then I found some weird stuff. There's this video of a kid with a dog named TiVo.


In this video, this kid is trying to feed that dog food, but he doesn't seem to be hungry..

Going further down the rabbit hole and searching for "tivo dog" finds random videos of...dogs named TiVo. None of them have many views.


This one talks about a dog named TiVo that apparently is transgender and changed their name to TiVa. I bet it's an inside joke.

So, what do you guys think? Have you ever met a dog named TiVo? Are people just crazy with names?

My guess is they just named the dog after the dvr that they loved so much! I once thought of naming my dog tivo ,But my wife would not want to hear non of that!

No stranger than my friend who named his dog Google. It just became, the dogs name, seemed perfectly natural when we said it.

Confused the heck out of visitors though...

I hope they're not guide dogs. If so, they won't be very dependable. :p
