Ever since the last major upgrade, my tivo premiere locks up when setting up transfers from PC to Tivo. For example, in the past, I could start a transfer, continue to browse my computer and choose another program to transfer, etc. they are setup in the 'To Do' list to transfer one after the other.
Now, I start the first transfer. I can go back to browsing and choose another program to transfer. I confirm the transfer when it gives the disclaimer about possibly not being able to view the program correctly. All good so far. Now it gives a message that the second program has been added to the 'To Do' list and tells me to press select to continue. As soon as I press select, the tivo freezes with the check mark showing in front of the 'press select' line. no other buttons on the remote work. the yellow light flashes on the tivo when i press a button so the tivo is receiving the remote signal but nothing happens. I have to power-cycle the tivo to get it back up and running at which time, both recordings do transfer successfully.
I have tried it several times and it does the same thing every time. if i setup a program to transfer and wait until it's completed, i can go back in and transfer the next program, and so on. just can't do more than one at a time in the 'to do' list.
Any ideas?
