Some time ago when I got updated to TiVo software 8.3-01-2-540, I immediately noticed that when going to the Now Playing List, I had to wait for the entire page list to be drawn before I could do anything like beginning to scroll or select an item. It will give a complaining beep until it's taken its sweet time to finish. This was new; older versions would "multithread" and let you get started doing something.
Moreover, this annoyance seems to occur only in the Now Playing List. Other screens, such as the To Do List, still are user-friendly.
What's up with this?
