A clip episode?!?! A CLIP episode?!?! In this day and age they waste time with a clip episode? And then it's just a dream anyway?

Is it possible for a show to jump the shark twice in the same episode? I'm mainly watching this out of momentum and the fact that there isn't much else on, but jeez...

The only saving grace is that I could use the TiVo to fast forward through the clips. So the whole thing was about 15 minutes long.

LMAO!

I had the same reaction. This show sucks to high heaven but having watched every ep to-date, I'm in ironman, gut-it-out mode and have vowed to see it through. I was actually thinking it might have been a good way to wipe the slate clean and start over with a new premise but alas, no - we end up with same 'F' list actors and ridiculous lines.

Oh well. One more to go: that which does not kill me... :D

Same here. I couldn't believe they did a clip episode of a show in its first season.

And though it's a dream, there may be more to it, since boyfriend-whom-I've-never-cared-about-enoug-to-remember-his-name has a neice that will probably look just like the little girl from the dream.

Hmmm...methinks you are trying to get my hopes up that somehow, someway, the writers will pull one out of their behinds. I remain unconvinced. This is the same crew that manages to dream up a neuro with interesting abilities once in a while and then do nothing more than have the team chip them or kill them at the end of every single episode (w/ the exception of the old guy and the magician).

I know it's wishful thinking but even if they kept most of the same cast and the same silly bat cave, here's what they could do to make it 50% better:

* Add a neuro to the principal team;
* If Jane's brain is growing, then for heaven's sake have her use it once in a while;
* Dump Connor; (I've seen newscasters with better acting skills; he makes Kristanna look like Meryl Streep);
* Let the team go rogue. Claiming that they are a federal agency with no money, backup and only 5 members is retarded;
* Grow the team to the size of say 100 like the old La Femme Nikita TV series. That way, team members can get killed but the principal team members survive.

Or if they don't want to do any of the above, then let Jane go rogue and run around helping neuros escape the government team.

I can't figure out how this show made it a full season and they canceled Blade which got increasingly better per episode :confused:

IMHO, the books sucked as compared to the television series.

Neither show (DF or PJ) was really worth sticking with, IMHO. As a matter of fact, just on the verge of getting SCI FI HD, I think SCI FI is getting to the point where there is nothing on worth watching. BSG will be back for one more season, but beyond that, Stargate Atlantis is nothing more than filler. What happened? (Answer: All the good stuff went to USA Network.)

I never had high potential for this show, so I have never really expected much. It's just a little diversion, but this episode was so bad it didn't even do that acceptably. And since when does ANYONE take their heart medicine right after a heart attack where they had to be revived by CPR, with a bottle of wine?

I keep recording this show and then deleting it without watching. Seeing the activity in this thread, I thought I would come in and check out whether there was finally a decent episode.

Instead I find out it was a particularly bad episode and dresden is no more as well. Crap on a stick.

The Sci Fi channel sure does blow monkey chunks. I'm not going to give it a pass just because I kind of like BSG (not as much as I used to, obviously). That's an anomaly. Even USA has two good shows.

You can't really say awful bad things about the SciFi channel in general, because, they at least gave shows like Dresden and Painkiller Jane a chance, which no other network or channel would have even considered. Yes, I don't like that they cancel some stuff that I think of as good, but at least it got a shot.

SciFi did rerun episodes of "Heroes", which allowed me to catch up. I didn't watch it on Mondays and was able to record the Friday reruns and play catch-up.

Every now and again they air a series rerun worth a look: Tru Calling, X-Files, Firefly etc. not to mention some great B horror movies. I'll finish up PJ but can't say that I'll sit thru another season.

Wish they would re-air Earth 2 or Space: Above and Beyond already.
