Hello. I'm new here. My name's Clif. I appreciate you all (I'd rather come here than technical support).

I have a Bolt 500GB, Android (Pixel 3) and iPhone 8. Both phones have the latest updates (system and app). Both are on the same carrier/plan. Both Tivo apps/phones are logged into the same Tivo account. Both work perfectly in-home (connected to WiFi).

I test at home. I disable WiFi on the phones and attempt to stream recorded shows "out-of-home" (over cellular).

The Android works as expected, performing "out-of-home" streaming over a cellular network. The iPhone, however, reports "Streaming over a cellular connection is not supported for recordings. Connect to a WiFi network in order to stream."

Cellular streaming on Apple devices has never been supported. It has to do with an Apple requirement that the bitrate has to be variable and controlled by the device, and TiVo never figured out how to meet that requirement. You can download over cellular, but streaming only works on WiFi.
I guessed it was something like that. I hadn't thought about downloading, that's a good suggestion. Thank you!
