My S3 is currently working just fine using both cable cards.

My TV even has a cable card which is working just fine.

Our local cable company does provide our local channels double. One in SD and the other HD of our local channels. The cable company though does NOT provide us with feeds of our local channels digital sub-channels. Such as 8-2, 4-3 & 4-4, 11-2.... etc...

I can get the locals digital sub-channels on my TV just fine using simple "Rabbit ears".

So now what I would like to know.... IS IT POSSIBLE...

For me to receive OTA of my local channels AND still use my cable cards & obtain all of my cable channels as well?

What I want do to do is any ONE of the following....

Record 2 cable channels at the same time....

OR...

Record 1 cable channel & 1 OTA.

OR

Record 2 OTA channels

Is it possible? & If so HOW?

Attach an antenna to the antenna input, and repeat guided setup telling the beast you have both an antenna and cable hooked up.

There's this neat paper thing that came with your Series 3 called a manual. It is a very interesting cutting edge concept that provides the user answers to many often asked questions in an off line format. Many questions about the usage of your TiVo can be answered by viewing this paper construct.

Or the short version. RTFM. ;)

Are the antenna and cable channels fully integrated in the guide?
Yes. The channels from both sources are fully integrated in the guide. Using the S3 with both sources is a seamless experience.
