Why do you think that?

People who like the product like to advertise it and be associated with it. A lot of manufacturers sell branded goods. Jaguar, Porsche, and Mercedes spring to mind. You don't think people wearing these branded goods work for the companies?

I wear my TiVo shirt and have a TiVo doll because I like to help the public's awareness of the name.

Er... actually I have a Tivo base ball cap

Got it as part of the beta test program - there a T-shirt somewhere as well I think.
