How do you enable folders (groups) of your shows
and how do you enable description preview for each show?

For folders, bring up the Now Playing List and follow the hints on the bottom of the screen.

Any show that you are watching (live or recorded) just press the > key next to the enter button and it will bring up guide data. Is this what you mean?
