One Pass Manager issues

I have my one pass manager set to record just the new episodes of my shows. But, it is recording new and reruns. And one in a while it misses the new shows. Any clue what I might me doing incorrectly?

It has always been an issue when you set to record new only and it also records shows with generic guide data, with no airdate.

I have them set with starting season >1 in the options, so that has cut down the shows with no guide data.
