"Stealthy" ROFL

I'm amazed that they showed us what was in the box, but then again, they told us absolutely nothing else. :)

OK, I need to get one more lash in on our favorite dead horse. So sayeth the opening: "Only one knows the truth". Not "just a few", or "only some", or "who knows how many". "Only one". So which "one" is it? Regina? Gold? The Stranger? My money is on Gold.

I was surprised that they still have that line in the opening. The opening implies that Regina is the only one that knows the truth, but it's pretty clear to me that Regina and Gold both know.

And, yeah, "Stealthy" - WTH.
Well if they say it's "only one" then it must be. I'm with martin, it must be Gold. Although Regina not knowing makes no sense.

The only way it works is if she knows she has stuff, but doesn't know where it came from. Maybe Gold figured out a way to have the crypt "bequeathed" to Regina, and she knows what's there and how to use it, but not where it came from. That would be not knowing "the truth".

Emma brought up Henry's "nonsense" to Regina again this week, and Regina seems completely oblivious. It seemed she had no idea about it and really didn't care.

Of course, the piece of glass in the collapsed mine episode leans the other way. I think they haven't done a good job of keeping this mystery clean.
It could be "the truth" refers to Emma. I am still pretty sure that Regina doesn't know who Emma is (that is, that she is The One Who Can Destroy Her), and that Gold does.
After the heart vault scene, how can anyone question if Regina remembers?
Yeah, I think "The Truth" is not that they're all stuck in Storybrooke, it's something to do with who Emma is and what she can do.
I actually started to wonder about a few things...

Do we know if the book Henry has, is an old book or a recent one?
And who wrote it? Could it be motorbike guy??

And he is a writer, maybe he has the power to change the stories??
I liked this episode quite a bit. The stealthy thing was cheeky in a way I don't expect from this show. Weird that the dwarves are the same height as Snow, though...

That was my first thought when I saw the typewriter. He is outside the story himself (hence his ability to visit) but can perhaps modify it.

Re other posts, I too think the secret is that Emma is Snow's daughter. I think Gold is the only one that knows that, well, except Henry. I don't think Regina does.

Unrelated... I want to see more Ruby/Red Riding Hood.

THIS!!!! When the title card at the beginning had a hooded figure walking through the forest, I thought for sure this would be the episode where we get Red's backstory, but instead, we just saw a couple glimpses of her in fairy tale world.

I thought we established a couple months ago that the creators/producers acknowledged that the "only one knows the truth" line definitely refers to Regina. There was an interview linked in one of the show's early threads and I thought we'd put this debate to bed.

This! She killed the sheriff by crushing his heart. She wasn't the unknowing mayor doing that, she was the Queen.

It's just hard to believe that Gold doesn't know. He's more than just a pawn broker.
Just posted to Facebook...

Fun fact from last night's episode: Listen to the voice of the meteorologist -- it's Damon Lindelof!

I thought that voice sounded familiar. :)

When they say the truth I think they mean ending the curse. I am certain that Mr. Gold is the one who had the story book written then scheming to get it into henry's hands. Mr. Gold is 2 steps a head of everyone including regina. The question is why Mr. Gold wants the curse lifted. Is he doing it to eventually shake down regina/emma/snow for a huge deals or another reason. Because he got it good in story brooke compared to the fairly land with his own curse and in jail.

Still loving the show can't wait till next week.

Someone else has mentioned a couple of times that they think that this whole thing is a long con my Gold. I think they very well could be right. He's trying to get his own curse lifted.
what is with all the panic over the rain?! this is supposed to be maine. they couldn't work up that kind of panic over a blizzard. I'm guessing all the writers are californians.

While it does seem that Gold knows everything [and I do think he knows plenty] he often gives shrewdly ambiguous responses. ["Time will tell"... not an actual quote but the sort of noncommittal comment I mean] It could be taken as concealing what he does know or covering for what he doesn't know while giving the impression he does.

Also, I'm surprised that no one has considered that the one who knows the truth could also be Henry.
Maybe the writers for the show's opening don't talk to the writers of the actual show, so the 'Only one knows' thing is total crap? Just another possibility. ;)

I also thought those were some tall dwarves. I liked the line 'We are now seven'.
