Old Tivo works with New Remote?

I have an old Sony SVR 2000 Tivo at my vacation house but I lost the remote. Can I use one of the new remotes that work with the new Series 2 Tivos? If not, I need to see if I can buy one of those old remotes somewhere. Because the old Tivo is at my vacation house, I cant test out the Seies 2 remote that I have here with me now. Anybody know the deal?

You need a Sony Tivo remote. None of the "peanut" remotes will work, but there are many universal remotes that will.

The universal remote URC-6131 has the codes for the SVR2000.
