Was setting up the tivo remote contol through the settings menu and had a problem with the Input button.

The tivo will only switch to 2 of the four tv inputs.
The tv remote, of course, switches to all.
I'm sure the first question is did you try all the codes? No I tried the first three or so and the last three or so. There's probably 4 or 5 more to try.

Has anyone ever seen this to where the tivo control will not operate all the inputs, only two?

It's a little unclear what you're talking about.

You speak of "four TV inputs".

On WHAT?

On your TV?

Why would you be trying to get your TiVo to switch to different INPUTS on your TV?

Please clarify just what these inputs are, what unit they're on, and so forth.

He's saying that the INPUT key on the TV remote, goes through 4 inputs one after the other. But the input key on tivo remote just stops after two, not getting to inputs 3 & 4.

I have never heard of this myself.

That's exactly what is going on.
Would it be possible to get a learning remote that will control the tivo and tv, then map the input button to where it would switch between all settings?
