One of the OTA tuners will not tune in my local ABC station, it works just fine on all other stations but when it is tuned back to ABC it is jumpy garbage pixels with no sound. When a show is scheduled to be recorded on ABC and another channel it reboots but 75% of the time lately and the other times just gave me a worthless recording. It is always the first OTA tuner, if that makes sense, I will be on 2 SAT channels and then tune to the ABC station then it will be junk. If I do it the other way around by changing that channel to another OTA then change the other tuner to the ABC station it works just fine.
This issue has gotten more serious in the last week with several timeslots with reboots. The problem seems to be more prevalent after the 6.3e upgrade.
I have tested with the OTA signal strength and this ABC station is the one with the lowest strength (50-65 on tuner 1, 40-50 on tuner 2 with dropouts). Tuner 2 will drop out on this station but on others it stays rock solid. NBC and CBS channels had both tuners steady in the 85-92 range with matching levels on each tuner. This is the weakest station but still, why would tuner 1 and tuner 2 have different levels only for this one station?
Could this be a hardware issue? I have seen other posts saying something about an issue on the ABC feed, could that be related? How could this problem only affect 1 channel on 1 tuner, any ideas? Is there anyway to turn off one of these tuners to work around the issue?
