I tried setting up my 1 TB Roamio; couldn’t get it up. Called Xfinity; they said it would take 60 nps and I only pay for 25 nps. Is this true? They commenced to sell me a higher pkg, which I don’t want to do. Help

I guess you mean Mbps. Anyway, they are wrong. It takes about .3 if you want to wait a long time. Many members with DSL work fine with 1Mbps DSL. What errors do you get?
