My Series2 died a few days ago, so I decided ti was time to get the TivoHD. I called Tivo to order directly from them. Placed the call at 11am, Its now 1140 and im still on hold waiting for the next sales representative. FANTASTIC!!!

It's not 11:40 where TiVo is based, but you would do far better buying from Amazon or somewhere else with a good business model.

You might be able to get the Tivo much quicker ordering from another source or even taking a trip to the local BB or CC.

I would order from Amazon. Then when it arrives login to TiVo.com and change the service number on your account. This way you spend 0 minutes on the phone and your billing does not change one bit.
