2/3/20 I called and cancelled my service, since I wasn't getting any. The phone rep offered me $6.95/month instead of the $14.99 I've been paying. Geez, wish they'd have offered me that a year ago since I've had no service all this time. She asked some other "department" if they could give me a full refund... NOPE! No soup for you peasant! Tivo corp believes in the philosphy -- the corporation is always right and the customer is always wrong! Tivo corp made TOO MUCH MONEY so now they don't give a damn about their customers. So much for capitalism... at some point the owners sell out to some other corp that is too rich to care. The "other department" / supervisor said I can't get a refund because ~"...I didn't respond when they emailed/contacted me back". OMG -- I had FIVE cases going over many months, I emailed them back diligently, I called them on the phone, I was told by the phone person that I did everything correct and gave them all the info they needed yadda yadda etc etc, I'm a VERY thorough and competent and organized person, I kept logs of everything, I still have ALL of their emails, I can prove they were 1000000000% negligent in every way, yet that's what they do -- they turn the tables and point the finger at ME and blame ME with some lame accusation which is 180-degrees opposite of the truth. Liars. Well, the sabotoging employees are happy now, they got rid of another customer for life, congratulations, one step close to going out of business and they'll be out of their jobs as well. Tivo has a SERIOUS employee problem -- their employees are sabotaging the customers like me. And the phone reps are not given any power to do what they feel is the right thing to do, and the managers/supervisors are complete idiots when it comes to business. Instead of actually spending FIVE MINUTES to fix my problem, and give me SOME kind of apology refund, now they lost all my business for life. LOLOL
IDK about everyone else, but I'm seeing an increasing trend in big companies that HATE their customers. This is some really bad disease running around in big companies like this. Very bad people running this company right now. The employees must really hate this company to be sabotaging customers, that's just AWFUL. But the owners are on a yacht in Monaco or wherever, and they don't care. Noone takes any PRIDE in doing a good job and making their customers happy anymore. Noone cares about anyone else anymore. It's all just rotting through and through. I noticed on my Premiere 4 it's really running the same old Series 2 base code, underneath a partial new HD menu skin. And there's still quite a few bugs too. I can see that noone really cares with the products too.
Well, I know everyone needs some kind of DVR to watch TV, since it's literally about 50% ads and various offensive crapaganda... when I see an actual TV ad like a car company or some other furniture sales store or whatever it's a relief, compared to the nonstop poison er I mean hypnotic brainwashing drug pushing "ads", and in my local area our local "news" show advertises their show about 10 times an hour on every single channel lol, OMG they are literally the worst news coverage in the world -- my state is melting down with epic problems that many of our senators & reps are actually WALKING OUT of sessions because the laws trying to be passed will DESTROY our state's economy forever, nevermind destroying our free/clean energy hydro dams and other terrorist activities ... but NOT A PEEP on the TV news show! Not a word about what's really going on! Just cat stuck up in a tree stuff... and nonstop weather... by the time you finish watching the weather show, the weather has already changed dramatically. OMG. Total fraud on the people. Keeping the people uninformed since 1977. Wow. Anyways, so I understand all you peeps still want to keep your Tivos, I understand, but as for me, I'm only one person, but I'm voting with my consumer dollars to boycott this horribly run company. I loved the OLD/ORIGINAL Tivo company, but not this new one.
No matter what we endure in this lifetime, just be good people okay? As long as you're a good person and don't hurt anyone else / cause suffering to others, then you're MOVING UP, and things will continually get better for you. Even if you have some bad things/bad karma to deal with in this lifetime, things WILL get better for you, and for all the BAD people things will get WORSE. There's a record being kept of all of our deeds, on some spiritual level that we can't understand as human beings. So, I salute all the good people. Say no to all the stupid negative programming shows out there with crapaganda -- it's all scripted to brainwash you... just be discerning and only watch the good shows... even some of those slip in a little hypnotic suggestion now and then but just ignore it and think for yourself.
