Restart your Tivo or just wait a while. They will show up. Tivo Desktop is buggy like that.
What's sad is they actually sell it...Restart your Tivo or just wait a while. They will show up. Tivo Desktop is buggy like that.
I think the OP is running the free version. So he's getting most of the deficiencies of the paid version for free. What's sad is they actually sell it...
Were you running the Plus version of TiVo Desktop before and perhaps forgot to re-enter your upgrade key? From what I recall, AVI files are only supported by TiVo Desktop Plus.I have reinstalled Tivo Desktop and remapped it to my video folder still containing 2 AVI files that I had already passed to my Tivo unit before my OS crash plus one new AVI file.
DivX or Xvid (.avi, .divx, encoded with the DivX codec, version 4 or higher, or with the Xvid codec. No other video formats are supported within .AVI files.)
I haven't restarted the DVR but I'm not following the logic of that since the PC is publishing the "now playing list".Restart your Tivo or just wait a while. They will show up. Tivo Desktop is buggy like that.

Unless I'm misunderstanding the problem, I think he got off pretty easy for a Windows upgrade to Win7.
The MAK is different than the Plus upgrade key. I'm still not clear on whether you had TiVo Desktop Plus or not before your Windows upgrade.I entered the access key when I reinstalled the software.
Yes, I had the Plus version before since I was able to share AVI's to my DVR at will. (And I do have the upgrade key as well; sorry for not making that clear.)The MAK is different than the Plus upgrade key. I'm still not clear on whether you had TiVo Desktop Plus or not before your Windows upgrade.
I did get off easy - and probably just lucky as all get out. I spent more time worrying something would go wrong but this could not have gone more smoothly from the clean re-install all the way through the upgrade. The only single hiccup was the Tivo server but everything else was flawless. Not that I'd ever want to do this a second time.I think the OP is running the free version.
