No sound

Not sure if we are still posting old fashoined probs with TiVi here?

I moved the TV a couple of inches and now TiVo is recording picture only and no sound. Before I pull the Tivo out and all the cables fall out necessitating another month of getting help to get it set up I wonder if there is a prime suspect as regards cables? (Sky box or Tivo - though Sky seems to be feeding through to the kitchen OK)

Personally I would always go for the SCART plugs first, I've found they have a tendency to partially disconnect at the slightest opportunity :eek:.
Give them all a firm push.

Unfortunately that hasn't sorted it - anyone any more thoughts?

The sound loss is quite a common issue which can often be fixed by switching everything off and, when the stb is back up and running, switch TiVo on too.

Ah the yea olde "Turn it off and on again" IT solution :cool:

It always did fix about 95% of problems
