No sound after transfer from PC

I just purchased a Series2 dual tuner Tivo. In preparation for it, I copied some shows from my Comcast DVR using a USB tuner. When I transfer from PC and try to play on the Tivo, there is no sound. When I play on the PC, using Windows Media Player, the sound is there! File format is mpg. Any ideas?

Aduio: MPEG-1 Layer 2 for TiVo DVRs without DVD; AC/3 (Dolby) for TiVo DVRs with DVD.

Do you know what format the audio is in inside the mpg file? AC3? Perhaps someone can suggest a video app (GSpot?) that can tell you that.
