Tonight, we turned on our TV and out Tivo Bolt gave us a message that there we were running out of guide data.
I checked and our connections to Tivo have been working.
But when I looked at the Guide info, every station says "Title Not Available" starting this Friday at 4:30PM.
I tried connecting again, the connection was successful - but still nothing after Friday at 4:30PM.
I rebooted, then connected again - but still nothing after Friday at 4:30PM.

The only thing that's changed recently is our Tivo is basically recording Olympics on all 6 tuners 24 hours a day (we've never recorded that much). But that shouldn't impact the ability to get more guide data, should it?

Any suggestions?

thanks

So about 30 minutes after I rebooted and reconnected, suddenly our guide data went from ending at 8/7 to ending at 8/16.
So:
- Can lots of recording actually jam up the system? We've had the Bolt since 2019, but this about 5-10 times as much per day as we've ever recorded?
- Does a reboot in this case really help (or was that a coincidence)?
- After the connecting, how long does one normally have to wait to see guide data updated?

thanks

Yup; reboot, then force a service connection or just wait for the connection that automatically happens after about 30 min. (TiVo suggests two consecutive service connections, but they usually aren't necessary). This fixes most garden-variety guide data problems. Sometimes a hard reboot (unplug, wait a minute or two, then plug back in) works when a soft reboot won't. If this doesn't work, then you're looking at possibly having to repeat guided set-up, or even Clear Guide Data & To Do List.
