No custom guide??

There are custom guide options. You can choose from:

All Channels
Channels You Receive
Favorites

From these options you can then filter on many different program types such as sports, movies, series, family etc.

Yes.

From what I can tell so far, the way to set up a "favorite channels" list is a little odd, but.....as far as I know, you go to the settings menu/then channel settings....when you see the list of all channels available, you can select them (check them off) to make up your "main" channel list, and then you can select channels for a favorite channel list by selecting "thumbs up" for those channels.
